Welcome to Total Devotion

We are the high school fellowship of Mandarin Baptist Church of Los Angeles. Our main goal is to provide an environment where young people can become firmly grounded in Christ. Our desire is to see Christians effectively integrating God's word, not only inwardly through their personal lives, but also outwardly through a solid defense of their faith.

Theme 2006-2007

Our theme for the coming year is The Cross: His Glory, Our Hope which is taken from the 1 Corinthians 1:18-2:5.

A Little Bit of Our History...

The name Total Devotion first appeared on a t-shirt in the summer of 1989 with the verse, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6) Through the years, God has faithfully kept this promise to the many students who have attended our fellowship.

By remaining totally devoted to Him after high school, God continues to use them as servants, leaders, missionaries, and salt for Christ in His kingdom. May God use Total Devotion in your life to carry you towards maturity in Christ.

"But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit."

Jeremiah 17:7-8

Total Devotion is the High School Fellowship at Mandarin Baptist Church of Los Angeles.

Total Devotion meets on every Friday night from 730 PM to 10 PM in Room 131 except for the last Friday of each month.

What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ-the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith. I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead.

Phillipians 3:8-11
